Self-care for the soul: a nourishing, grounding practice each day.

This Yoga Challenge is for YOU!

This challenge is for you, even if you're not sure 'yoga' is for you! 

  • Do you want to slow-down and feel more at home in your body? 
  • Are you managing a chronic illness, and want to reduce your stress? 
  • Are you feeling the collective stress, or an increase in anxiety and want to manage the anxiety naturally?
  • Are you looking to make yoga a part of your self-care routine with a regular practice?

Mindful Movement

This is movement that is designed to promote mindfulness and provide you with an "inner-cise," this is not exercise yoga. 

Gentle modifications will be given to suit most levels of ability. 

This type of movement will help to regulate the nervous system - providing your body with tools that can be used in acute moments of stress. 

Presence Takes Practice

Yoga is a great way to practice being present. Taking care of ourselves - real self-care takes presence - it takes an ability to look within and know what our bodies need in the moment.  Not acting from a place of "should" or "usually," but actively listening, and being open to the messages from within that will tell you what your soul is seeking - in this moment...

Yoga is a holistic add-on...

Lifestyle MEdicine

Yoga is a part of a lifestyle approach to medicine, helping manage the side effects associated with many chronic conditions.  Stress is a huge component of illness, and 30 minutes of slow mindful yoga a day may help your nervous system regulate and handle stressors better.

How it works:

  • When you sign-up for the challenge you will be added as a student to my virtual studio on Ubindi - you will also be registered for each of the 30-minute live classes March 14-18.  
  • Class reminders will be sent 15 minutes before the live class (@4:15 pm CST) - - - this email will have the link to join the class. 

Watch Video Replays:

  • Video replays will be found here in the Ubindi Virtual studio under the videos tab. You'll have access to all of the videos that are a part of the challenge for two weeks (until April 1).
