We will gather together this Winter Solstice to bring ourselves into harmony with the energy around us, to connect with our inner selves in a deep meaningful way.
Traditionally our ancestors may have practiced some type of a ritual on the Winter Solstice, to honor this significant day.
Winter is an important time to honor the body's need for deep rest.
The world moves fast, and we are expected to keep up, often at the expense of our own health and well-being.
You are worthy of this investment in yourself - this time to recharge, slow-down, and look within. Self-care for the spirit, is just as important as any other self-care we undertake
The Zoom classroom will be open at 4:30, the event will start at 4:45.

Gentle movement, for the whole body. Weekly themes vary, and are seasonal in nature (more vigorous in spring, cooling in summer, & more calming in fall/winter). Variations will be offered to suit most body types - seated, kneeling and standing poses will be used. Moderate pace, with time for awareness and mindfulness.

What is accessible yoga? Yoga that is adapted to include more bodies, classes offer a variety of options for each pose to help you find a version that works for your body today. These classes will be appropriate for Yoga 4 Cancer participants, and show Chair Yoga modifications too.
