Virtual Classes - More Information

Live Virtual Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Every Tuesday and Thursday @ 10am CST.

Live virtual classes are a great way to stay connected - and see one another. It is wonderful to know you are on the other end of the class, I can feel your presence and enjoy teaching you, even if we aren’t together in the same room!  It is your choice to have your video on or off - there is a spot on the lower left corner of your computer/phone screen that will let you decide.  You will enter the zoom meeting room on mute - but I generally enter a few minutes before class, and welcome you to unmute yourself and say hello!

Carve out a little time and space for yourself, ask your family members to honor this time, and close the door (if possible). Light a candle, bring in some fresh flowers, or a spiritual reference - - create a special space to connect within.

Yoga is about trusting your body, listening to your body, and choosing to practice in a way that honors injuries as trusted teachers, guiding us to more understanding of ourselves.  Injuries are not something to push through and ignore - - please listen to, and honor all messages from your body.

You are encouraged to explore the use of props in my classes.  I will tell you when and where - or you might find new and interesting ways to have these assist you as well. Props can help bring the floor up to you, and help your arms reach just a little farther, allowing you to benefit more deeply from the poses.

Props to have available for class:

  • Yoga Mat
  • Two Yoga Blocks (plastic shoe box sized containers can work as well, paper towel rolls work, - or even having a couple of different size of blankets and pillows).
  • One blanket or pillow
  • One yoga strap, scarf, or belt

Sign the Online New Student Waiver if you haven’t already done so.
